Carolina Girl Confections

CAROLINA GIRL CONFECTIONS is a sweet-savvy bakery based in our state's capital, Columbia, SC! Carolina Girl Confections was named for the owner's love and pride in her home state and the unforgettable University of South Carolina Gamecocks. Carolina Girl Confections began its business making southern heirloom cakes, which are the owner's first loves, and later began creating custom sweets, including custom cakes and cupcakes, at the requests of her customers.

For the owner, baking is a passion that has passed down from generation to generation. It started out as a hobby that has grown immensely because of one pot luck Red Velvet cake. When the company potluck was done, there were people asking, "Who made that cake? How much will it cost?" So, after many late nights,
prayers, talks and sample cakes, CAROLINA GIRL CONFECTIONS was born!

We cater to individuals and businesses, making confections for everything from Sunday dinners to wedding
receptions, and everything in between!
Our mission is to create confections that make a memory. We want our customers to remember where they were when they had our confections for the first time. And we want our customers to smile at that memory... and tell all their friends!
